This letter is intended to accompany the revised road plans, bridge plans, retaining wall plans, and geotechnical reports to serve as written response to the comments provided. VDOT comments are addressed under separate cover (attached). ACSA comments have been received and satisfactorily addressed via email. Planning (Christopher Perez) - two unresolved comments on June 26, 2020 letter. 1. Response: Bond calculation request application was made at the last submittal. John Anderson provided bond estimate to Ana Kilmer on 08/03/2020. 4. Response: Note in question on Sheet 4 revised to your satisfaction per our email exchange on 08/06/2020 6. Response: See the attached executed agreement with the current owner of TMP 80-58A granting permission for oftsite grading and driveway improvements. Engineering (John Anderson) - ongoing email correspondence I believe all previous comments were determined to be addressed exceptfor the need, or not, for a maintenance agreement for the retaining walls and whether the walls need to be outside or inside the VDOT R.O.W. Email from Frank Pohl on 10/20/2020 indicated that the R.O.W. should be adjusted so that walls fall within VDOT R.O.W. with adequate room for access or with an additional access easement and that no maintenance agreement would be required. R.O.W.s have been adjusted to include the retaining walls and end walls and additional 10' wide access easement provided where appropriate. Revised retaining wall plans/calcs, bridge plans/calcs, and geotechnical report are included to address to VDOT comments.
