The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Plat referenced above once the
following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the
Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14-302(B)6] Tax map and parcel number. TMP 17-25E no longer exists. With the last subdivision that took
place, recorded in the Clerk’s Office in 2018, the residue was assigned a new parcel number by the Real Estate
Department. The new parcel number is TMP 17-25E4. Correct this throughout the plat.
2. [14-302(B)7] Reservoir watershed; agricultural-forestal district. Revise note #13 to state that the land is within a
water supply watershed (Buck Mountain Creek Water Supply Watershed).
3. [14-302(A)2] Vicinity Map. Revise the vicinity map to reflect the current parcel boundaries of the two subject
parcels.
4. [Recommendation] Development Rights. In a note clearly document all existing development rights for each
parcel. The current notation, note #18, is permitted with Boundary Line Adjustments; however, because so many
modifications have happened over the years it would be advantageous to document how many development rights
truly exist for each parcel with this plat.
Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 14 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The Code is kept
up to date by the County Attorney’s office. The Code may found on the County Attorney’s website which may be
found under “Departments and Services” at Albemarle.org. In accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B) of
Chapter 14 of the Code if the developer fails to submit a revised final plat to address all of the requirements within
six (6) months after the date of this letter the application shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the
