HomeMy WebLinkAboutARB202000024 Certificate of Appropriateness 2020-11-04p �� OF A( V � =r- Gt COUNTY OF ALBEMARLE Department of Community Development 401 McIntire Road, North Wing Charlottesville, Virginia 229024596 Phone (434) 296-5832 Fax (434)972-4126 November 4, 2020 Scott Collins Collins Engineering 200 Garrett Street, Suite K Charlottesville, VA 22902 RE: ARB-2020-24: Spring Hill Village, Final Site Development Plan (TMP: 09000-00-00-02800) Dear Scott, I have reviewed the plans with revision date of 10/27/2020, and the following additional and revised sheets: • The revised Spring Hill Front Elevations (Lots 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-22, 23-28, 29-33, 34-38, 3942, 50-55, 56-60, 61-63, 84-88, 89-94 & 95-100 resubmitted 8/20/2020, • The revised Spring Hill Side Elevations (Lots 1, 6, 11, 16, 23, 71, 84, 88, 89, 94, 95 &100) resubmitted 8120/2020, • The revised Spring Hill Rear Elevations (Lots 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-22, 43-45, 46-49, 64-67, 68-71, 76-79 & 80-83)resubmitted 8/20/2020, • The Spring Hill Village: Townhome Units Side Elevation: Trim Detail (Lots 6,11, 16,23,84 & 100) submitted on 8/20/2020, • The Spring Hill Village: Villa Units Side Elevation: Trim Detail (Lots 71) submitted on 8/20/2020, • The Spring Hill Village: Townhome Units Rear Elevation: Trim Detail (Lots 1-22) submitted on 8/20/2020, • The Spring Hill Village: Villa Units Rear Elevation: Trim Detail (Lots 4349, 64-71 & 76-83) submitted on 8/20/2020, • Spring Hill Village - Townhomes and Villas Materials list resubmitted on 8/20/2020, and • Anchor Diamond Pro wall system details and data sheets. The changes made in these plans address the conditions of approval outlined at the ARB meeting held on 5/18/20 and subsequent staff reviews. You may consider this letter your Certificate of Appropriateness. This approval is specifically conditioned on the following: 1. Execution of the design indicated on the final approved plans, attachments, materials, samples, and other submittal items presented. 2. Mechanical equipment must not be visible from the Entrance Corridor. Please note the following: 1. Any changes in the approved design will require a new application and additional review. 2. Certificates of Appropriateness are valid for the same period that the corresponding site plan is valid. If there is no site plan required for the proposed work, the Certificate of Appropriateness is valid for 3 years. Applicants requesting an extension of the period of validity must do so in writing. The letter must be received by the Director of Planning prior to the expiration date. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
