It may help to know that the Greenway Trails are not intended to be removed from this area. In accordance with the proffers of a previous rezoning approval, this development is required to provide and dedicate the Greenway Trail to the County. See the attached documents from ZMA20160000S for more information. I'm also attaching the proposed plat that was submitted by the applicant. On it you can see the proposed Greenway trail location and dedication area. The County Parks and Recreation Department will also be reviewing this plat and making comments on the developer's proposal. DO NOT CLICK on links or open attachments unless you are sure the content is safe. To whom it concerns, I am a resident of Glenbrook at Foothill Crossing. We have a lovely neighborhood that boarders trails that go from Crozet park through these neighborhoods. It is enjoyable to have the nice well kept trails that are great for walking that we can get to easily from Glenbrook. I have heard that our access to this trail is being removed by the county. Hopefully this is not true. Please advise as to future plans for these trails as it relates the Glenbrook neighborhood. Many thanks for your help with this matter! DO NOT CLICK on links or open attachments unless you are sure the content is safe. Dear Ms. Gleason, My purpose in writing today is to share feedback on the proposed project SUB202000167 Glenbrook at Foothills Phase 116. The Glenbrook foothills subdivision is a wonderful and thoughtfully planned addition to the community. One area is concerning however. Loss of greenway space between Crozet park and along the stream and walking path corridor. A number of the proposed lots will significantly alter the appearance and beautiful enjoyment of the nature trail. The nature trail connects multiple communities in Foothills Crossing with Crozet park providing an unbroken and natural experience for the enjoyment of the whole community. The nature trail winds in parallel with the creek. Adding adjoining lots directly abutting the greenway without sufficient tree buffer will greatly detract from this valuable feature. My hope is the county will work with the developer to preserve and enhance this wonderful greenway resource rather than encroach and detract from it. This is an excellent opportunity to maintain the existing character of the natural resource by creating a permanent park easement. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, John Taylor 128 Bethany Lane Crozet, VA 22932
