new ones in the locations shown.

Good morning. I'm emailing you to bring you up-to-date on our efforts to accommodate Fire and Rescue's request to
increase turnaround space in a cul-de-sac in our Whittington Community.
Two plats — one marked up and one not - are attached showing the Victor Place cul-de-sac. In the unmarked plat, the
diameter of the cul-de-sac was adjusted to the approved plan dimension by adding 5' of asphalt to the circumference. A
subsequent inspection by F/R led to a request for additional space for emergency vehicles. This additional turnaround
space in existing easements —the locations and dimensions — are also shown.
We had the area staked, then held a meeting at the location, which included County engineer Frank Pohl, our VP of Land
Jeremy Swink, members of our development team and six neighbors. The emergency access turnaround proposed
encroaches a significant distance onto the properties and would be extremely close to the Henry's residence. Neighbors
volunteered their driveways as an alternate location; those driveways are indicated in the "driveway markup" plat
attachment.
Would you be able to visit the cul-de-sac and assess the feasibility of the proposed turnaround? And also consider the
feasibility of the proposed driveway alternatives? I can also arrange a meeting for all of us to visit the site together to
examine and discuss it.
