This facility is in a building that is divided into two distinct sections that have separate mailing addresses; 1625 Quail Run and 1627 Quail Run. Biocore is an automotive safety, sports biomechanics, engineering, and consulting services firm that occupies both sides of the facility. As part of our services we conduct testing and evaluation of sports safety devices including helmets, padding, and shoes. The Biocore operation Meets the Type 1 criterion and a discussion of each section 18-4.14 performance standards elements is provided below: Noise: Biocore will not create sound or impact noise levels that violate the ordinance. The major sources of noise will be the occasional use of impact devices to test helmets and shoes. None of these devices create a noise that can be heard through the existing walls or outside of the building. Vibration: Biocore does not use equipment that creates vibration. Glare: The Biocore operation is completely contained within the building. The interior lighting associated with this operation does not produce glare. Air emissions: There is no expectation of emitting smoke, odor or gaseous pollutants. Water Pollution: No liquid wastes will be generated by this operation. All materials will be disposec of in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Radioactivity: Biocore does not use radioactive materials and there are no known radioactive emissions.
