The following changes have been made in response to your comments: A. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) 1. Please have applicant complete the new registration statement. The new registration statement is included. 2. Provide new reduced sized inserts for sections 4&5. Revise section 5 SWM narrative. These sections have been updated. C. Pollution Prevention Plan (PPP) 1. Show locations where concentrated stormwater discharges (ditches along bottom of driveway). These areas are now labeled. D. Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) 1. Not all runoff from site will sheet flow. Per meeting on July 18, comment has been withdrawn. 2. Show the easement for the ELS. Per meeting on July 18, comment has been withdrawn. 3. Submit a deed and easement plat for Forest/Open Space and SWM facility easements. The deed and plat will need to be recorded prior to plan approval. Acknowledged.The easement plat by Roudabush, Gale &Assoc., Inc. will be submitted shortly. 4. The runoff from the channels at the beginning of the driveway must be analyzed to meet water quantity requirements. Per meeting on July 18, comment has been withdrawn. 5. ELS design: a. Show LS lip in front of blind swale. Why are you extending the blind swale so far? The vegetated lip is labeled and demarcated by spot elevations. We are extending it to try to keep water from outletting straight back into the driveway ditch and also so that it outlets to soil that has not just been disturbed by the sediment trap. b. The LS lip (as shown) discharges into forested space and will need to meet the L=40'per cfs requirement. That requirement is meant for the ELS that is used to claim phosphorus removal credit in the VRRM spreadsheet. Regardless, the level spreader has been moved closer to the road and out of the forested area. c. Include calculation showing that surface area of forebay to level spreader is at least 0.2% of the contributing drainage area. This calculation is now shown on Sheet C7. E. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) 1. Sheet C3: a. Show the steep slopes. critical overlay on the existing conditions sheet. Show legend for hatching/symbols. The steep slopes hatch is now included on the legend on the cover sheet. 2. Driveway appears to exceed grade limit of 16%. Shawn Maddox/Frank Pohl to provide feedback. Acknowledged. 3. Include type of low maintenance ground cover& legend with hatching symbol. The low maintenance ground cover hatch is now included in the legend on the cover sheet. The type of cover is specified on the plans. 4. Sheet C5— You're showing disturbance, structures, & improvement in the critical slopes areas and this is not allowed unless a waiver is provided. Albemarle County determined it is allowed since it was approved with the building permit. 5. Sheet C8 — Show paved construction entrance details. Owner can work with E&SC inspector to determine if stone CE is acceptable. The paved construction entrance detail is now shown.
