Please note that this approval is subject to the following conditions: 1. Special Use Permit 2006-17, Floral Images, shall be developed in general accord with the concept plan dated August 24, 2006, prepared by W. R. Strickler, and titled "Floral Images" (Attachment A.); 2. One (1) vehicular entrance from Yancey Mill Lane shall serve as the only driveway for this parcel. It shall be required to be surfaced with gravel; 3. No walk-in sales shall be permitted on the premises; 4. A maximum of seven (7) client visits per week shall be permitted on the premises; 5. The total area of the workshop shall be limited to one thousand two hundred (1,200) square feet. 6. This use shall commence within three (3) years of the date of approval rather than the twenty-four (24) months stated in section 31.2.4.4; and 7. Hours of operation are required to be limited to 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Saturday. In the event that the use, structure or activity for which this special use permit is issued shall not be commenced within thirty-six (36) months after the issuance of such permit, the same shall be deemed abandoned and the authority granted thereunder shall thereupon terminate. For purposes of this section, the term "commenced" shall be construed to include the Strickler/Herring SP -2006-017 Floral Images Page 2 of 2 October 30, 2006 commencement of construction of any structure necessary to the use of such permit within two (3) years from the date of the issuance. Please be aware that establishment and operation of a Home Occupations, Class B use is subject to supplementary regulations of the Zoning Ordinance (Section 5.2). Copies of the supplementary regulations are attached. Before beginning this use, you must obtain a zoning clearance from the Zoning Department. Before the Zoning Department will issue a clearance, you must comply with the conditions in this letter. For further information, please call Jan Sprinkle at 296-5832.
