Under section § 17-900 of the Albemarle County Code, this is your NOTICE TO COMPLY with
the requirements of the Land Disturbance Permit (or Agreement in Lieu of a Plan) for the
referenced project and to immediately take corrective measures to address erosion and sediment
control deficiencies on this property. This Notice to Comply is being issued because of the
following deficiencies:
Deficiency: Stabilize as required, after 7 days if remaining dorment longer than 14 days
Corrective Action: apply seed,fertilizer and mulch as required
Deficiency: Stabilize as required, see above

Deficiency: Basin 1 has a bypass cndition occuriing from the right side, DD not rereleasing into
basin, Baffles are failing.
Corrective Action: make required repairs to baffles and short cut condition from DD

sediment buildup. caused by overflow across 20 and release through pipe.
Corrective Action: remove sediment by hand and re-establish groundcover as required.
Deficiency: no wash in use or visible on site
Corrective Action: begin use ASAP, clean roadway and CE
Deficiency: install stable parking within the work area to prevent sediment transfer to ROW and
waterways.

Unless subsequently amended in writing by this office, it is expected all of these corrective
measures will be completed by.
Re -inspection of this notice to verify corrective measures will incur a $150 for land disturbing under
VESCP and single-family dwelling units (§ 17-207) or a $250 fee for land disturbing under VSMP (§ 17-
208). Failure to take effective corrective measures will result in a Stop Work Order upon re -inspection.

Comments: Site has an issue with the intersection of the basin outfall, trap out fall and the
roadside ditch on Rt. 20. As designed the volume of runoff can not filter quick
enough and causes a flooding effect. This flooding causes a flow of water to enter
the state roadway and could lead to a hazardous driving condition. A redisign of this
area must be completed asap. VDOT and Albemarle County Board of Supervisors
are aware of this issue and have asked for immediate correction. Please submit an
amendment to the approved plan design for review by CDD Engineering.
