VISIBILITY ANALYSIS CONDUCTED IN GIS USING LIDAR ELEVATION
DATA FROM VGIN AND LAND COVER DATA FROM VITA. AREAS WITH
TREE COVER WERE ASSIGNED AN ADDITIVE ELEVATION OF 40 FEET
BASED ON AN APPROXIMATION OF MEASURED ELEVATION VALUES.
VISUAL IMPACT IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY OF THE PROJECT
LOCATION IS ASSUMED TO BE MITIGATED BY VEGETATIVE

While the maximum tilt height of the proposed panels is 9.8. the panels shown in the following simulations have a max height of 9.42' based
on the sun position at the time of year and day that the photograph was taken.

Data Reference and Accuracy Statement
Camera Positions
The virtual cameras have been placed close to the locations provided and aligned to match the real -world camera settings, height and focal
length by using reference objects placed at known locations, such as trees in this case.
Surrounding 3D Context and vegetation models:
Foreground features and any other surrounding context visible from the chosen viewpoint was 3D modelled using any publicly available
photography of the area as well as Google Earth and other Satellite imagery. The species as well as heights of any 3D tree and other
vegetation models are determined using any of the above -mentioned image references as well as any publicly available regional data.
3D Terrain Models:
United States Elevation Data (NED) (10m Resolution) DEM was used to create the 3D terrain model in this simulation at approximately 15ft
spatial resolution. The 10 meter DEM tiles are derived from diverse source data that are processed to a common coordinate system and unit
of vertical measure. Accuracy of the simulations therefor lie within the tolerances of datasets available.
