This change allows time for requests to be entered into the system and for our system to inform requesters who their inspector will be. By generating inspection assignments ahead of time, inspectors will be able to report directly to job sites each day— creating more inspection capacity each day.. When permits are issued, information will be provided to a link in County View for customers to track their permit status. In addition, a list of inspector's cell phone number will be provided also. The two tools will allow the customer to contact the inspector directly regarding their inspection questions. Together, we believe these process changes will reduce delays in the inspection process.
