HomeMy WebLinkAboutSE202000019 Correspondence 2021-01-15 (2)VDOT CRASH DATA SE202000019 CHRISTIAN AID MISSION CRITICAL SLOPES DISTURBANCE REQUEST Collision Data Location: Route 250, MP 90.7 to MP 91.6; generally, this is from .25 miles west of the intersection of Broomley Road and Route 250 to .6 miles east of the Broomley Road and Route 250 intersection. The existing entrance to tax parcel 59-23G1 from Route 250 is approximately 600' east of the intersection of Broomley Road and Route 250. Source of Data: The data provided in this crash data report was pulled from VDOT's Crashtools8_2 Timeline: This crash data was collected from 12/26/2014 to 9/20/2020 Summary: There were 49 collisions along this .85 mile stretch of Route 250 between the end of 2014 and the fall of 2020. There was one collision near the entrance of the existing entrance to the property from Route 250, this one collision was a rear end collision caused by a vehicle following too closely. Two of the 49 collisions along this stretch were angle collisions, angle collisions are typical with collisions occuring from vehicles turning into or out of entrances. Collision Data near Existing Property Entrance (Figure 3): There was one collision in very close proximity to the existing property entrance since late 2014.
