TAX RELIEF FOR THE ELDERLY AND/OR TOTALLY DISABLED
The County of Aloemarte provides a Tax relief program for residents who are 65 years of age or older and/or permanently and
totally disabled. The annual income limit is currently $69,452. The net worth _.imit is currently $200,000 excluding the value
of the home and up to 10 acres of land upon which it sits. Renewal appiica^.ions must be filed by April 1st of the tax year for
which relief is requested. New applicants rust file by October 31st: of the tax year for which relief is requested. Far

LAND USE
The deadline for filing a land use application is 30 days after the date of annual reassessment notice. in addition to filing
new applications for parcels qualifying for the first time, a land use application must also be submitted whenever the
use or acreage of such ;and previously approved changes. Failure to submit an application by the speo'fied deadline shall

BUSINESS LICENSE AND TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX REQUIREMENTS FOR RENTING OUT YOUR PROPERTY

exclusively for residential occupancy, or if you are operating a homestay (the rental of lodging property for periods fewer than
30 days, potentially advertised through onf.ne. services), County Code chapter 8 requires you to obtain a bus'. ness license. A
business license fee or tax applies if your gross receipts are over $25,000. If you are operating a homestay, County Code
§15-901 requires you to collect Transient Occupancy tax. For further information, please contact the Revenue
