RE: ARB-2020-90: Aldi Renovations at Albemarle Square (06100000002300)
Dear Kevin,
As indicated in email correspondence on 11/20/2020, your architectural submittals dated 10/08/2020 and 11/2/2020
resolved all outstanding ARB issues regarding the proposed building renovation design. You may consider this
letter your Certificate of Appropriateness for that work. I'm sorry for the delay in forwarding this letter.
This approval is specifically conditioned on the following:
1. Execution of the design indicated on the final approved plans, attachments, materials, samples, and
other submittal items presented.
2. Mechanical equipment shall not be visible from the Entrance Corridor.
Please note the following:
1. Any changes in the approved design will require a new application and additional review.
2. Certificates of Appropriateness are valid for the same period that the corresponding site plan is valid.
If there is no site plan required for the proposed work, the Certificate of Appropriateness is valid for 3
years. Applicants requesting an extension of the period of validity must do so in writing. The letter
must be received by the Director of Planning prior to the expiration date.
3. Note that the wall signs related to this application are being reviewed under ARB-2021-17 and are
not approved with ARB-2020-90.
