(The following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle County Code.] First Review Comments: 1. [32.5.2 (s)] Please add the application number, SDP202100007, to the project title on Sheet 1. State that this is minor site plan amendment # 1 to SDP000000164 in the title. 2. [32.5.2 (a)] Please update the Zoning information shown on the abutting parcels. Highway Commercial is abbreviated as "HC" and not "11W." 3. [32.7.91 Quantities of trees provided in the plant schedule and landscaping calculations do not match. Please verify the number of trees provided and update the calculations and plant schedule on Sheet 5 as necessary. 4. [4.12.19, 32.7.9, and 30.6] Clarify the labeling on the dumpster enclosure. Show a profile exhibit of the dumpster enclosure showing dimensions and materials. The dumpster enclosure needs to comply with all screening requirements. 5. [General Comment] This application is pending ARB review (see comment below). ARB may have additional comments regarding the Landscaping or Lighting Plan. Provide bumper blocks for all parking spaces along SW parcel boundary to limit incidence of vehicle overhang, protect existing on -site signs, protect existing or future landscaping on adjacent parcel, etc. See satellite image, last page. j. Sheet 5: If landscape irrigation is considered, recommend show with Site Plan, sheet 3, or Landscaping Plan, sheet 5, and install with construction to limit damage to pavement in the future. Entrance location does not meet required spacing from a signalized intersection and other entrances as detailed in Appendix F of the VDOT Road Design Manual. Please submit an AM-E for review. 2. Entrance geometry (including curb radii) must meet standards found in the Road Design Manual, Appendix F. A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right of way. The owner/developer must contact the Charlottesville Residency land Use Section at (434) 422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
