Earlysville, VA 22936 Attn: Christopher Murray Date: March 2, 2021 Re: Panorama Farms — waiver of cemetery setback Dear Chris, We appreciate the opportunity to review the proposed plans for establishing the Natural Burial Ground at Panorama Farms. As discussed, provided there is at least a 50- foot offset from our property line and the trees along our common border remain, we fully support the initiative. We believe it is an excellent way to preserve green space in an environmentally friendly way. Other documentation: • Metes and Bounds: Proposed general area for A Natural Burial Ground at Panorama Farms: North-west corner of Albemarle County, parcel 45-1, encompassing approximately 20 acres. Starting Point: The burial area starting point will be located 25' south of the old 1953 entrance into Panorama Farms off of Reas Ford Ln. (Rt 661) and the east side of the existing gas line easement. The boundary then follows the eastern edge of the gas line easement to the south until it intersects with the 750' setback for the residence on parcel 30-18G. The boundary then turns to the east and follows this setback line until it intersects with the 100' stream setback buffer. The boundary continues eastward following the stream setback buffer until it reaches the open field. Crossing the open field in a east northeast direction, crossing over the existing farm road approximately 100' north of where the farm road splits, to where the boundary intersects with 100' stream setback buffer for the stream that flows south from Graemont subdivision. It follows this buffer northward and stops at a point that is 50' shy of the property line between Graemont subdivision and Panorama Farms. It follows this boundary line north northwest until it intersects with the 700' setback from the residence of Parcel 31-21E. The boundary line then follows this setback on a southward bearing arch going westerly until it reaches the starting point. SPECIAL USE PERMIT CHECKLIST 09-2020 PAGE
