Under section § 17-900 of the Albemarle County Code, this is your NOTICE TO COMPLY with
the requirements of the Land Disturbance Permit (or Agreement in Lieu of a Plan) for the
referenced project and to immediately take corrective measures to address erosion and sediment
control deficiencies on this property. This Notice to Comply is being issued because of the
following deficiencies:
Deficiency: Dirt stockpiles are being brought
Corrective Action: must record all sedbeing brought onto site, number of loads and where they
came from
Deficiency: grading plan not updated showing new dirt stockpiles
Corrective Action: Must update SWPPP showing new stockpiles
Deficiency: Multiple dirt stockpiles not stabilized
Corrective Action: Must update grading plan showing location of stockpiles
Deficiency: Perimeter controls not installed for new townhouses; silt fence for dirt stockpile not
trenched and stakes on wrong side
Corrective Action: must install perimeter controls for new townhouses and all dilt fence for
stockpiles must be installed per VESCP
Deficiency: inadequate inlet protection
Corrective Action: must install inlet that meet the approved plan
Deficiency: Large amount of sediment in outfall
Corrective Action: Must clean all sediment from out?
Unless subsequently amended in writing by this office, it is expected all of these corrective
measures will be completed by.
Re -inspection of this notice to verify corrective measures will incur a $150 for land disturbing under
VESCP and single-family dwelling units (§ 17-207) or a $250 fee for land disturbing under VSMP (§ 17-
208). Failure to take effective corrective measures will result in a Stop Work Order upon re -inspection.
