RE., Greenloft Farm — Engineer's Certification
The Improvements for the Greenloft Farm have been completed and are in general compliance with the approved
construction plans.
Greenloft Farm Court (private road) has been constructed from Dudley Mountain Road through the property to
the end of the road, terminating at a cul-de-sac. The total length of roadway constructed is approximately 3,785
linear feet. The roadside drainage ditches have been installed along the roadway, and tie-in to the designed
culverts under the roadways.
The drainage structures as designed along the roadways have been installed. Both RCP and HDPE pipe were
utilized on this project and installed per VDOT requirements and specifications. Collins Engineering inspected the
storm sewer installation and can confirm it was installed in conformance with VDOT standards. An asbuilt field
survey on the structures show that the structures have been installed within general accord of the design plans. I
video has also been taken along the drainage structures to verify the construction and integrity of the piping
system. Video evidence was previously provided to Albemarle County. All pipes are in good shape and are
operating as designed.
The road compaction has been tested by F&R Geotechnical firm, and the reports were previously provided to
Albemarle County. The stone base has been proof -rolled and inspected for settlement. The roadway surface coat
has been added to seal up the stone gravel. The soil compaction was verified by F&R and all fill was placed at 95%
compaction.
It is my professional opinion that the Greenloft Farm private road has been constructed substantially in accordance
with the approved plans and in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements
