An additional column has been added to demonstrate individual and then total canopy area. b. Staff suggests revising the caliper of trees provided in the landscape schedule so that they match c ode requirements. ARB action letter/comments will be provided after that meeting. Acknowledged. Albemarle County Transportation Planning — Dan Butch: 1. As this was a Traffic Study for a SDP I simply reviewed the study for any recommendations. The study concluded the redevelopment will have a minimal to no impact on adjacent US29 and Hilton Heights Intersection and continue to operate in the same LOS with minimal increase/delay. No improvements are recommended/required for the intersection to accommodate vehicular traffic generated from the redevelopment. Therefore, I have no additional comments. Acknowledged. Albemarle County Engineering— Emily Cox: 1. WPO202100003 must be approved before final site plan can be approved. Acknowledged. 2. Please show a SWM facility easement. Please show permission for the proposed work offsite on all adjacent parcels as well as in the Virginia telephone and telegraph company easement. All work to be performed within property, right of way, or easements. Telephone easement to be abandoned with quit claim, once building demo permit has been acquired. 9. Ensure all pavement markings are VDOT or MUTCD standards. Acknowledged. 10. It is unclear if the drive-thru has a proposed stop sign or not. Please show all proposed sign location. A stop sign is proposed at the end of the drive through. 11. Loading space should be delineated separately from the dumpster area. The loading space has been separated from the dumpster area. 12. Ensure parking areas do not exceed 5%grade anywhere, in any direction. The grades in the parking area have been adjusted for the layout change and verified to not exceed 5%. Albemarle County E911— Elise Kiewra: 1. No objection. Acknowledged. Albemarle County Building Inspections — Betty Slough: 1. Add the following note to the general notes page: Accessible parking spaces, access isles, and accessible route shall be installed on accordance with ICC ANSI A117.1-09 and the 2015 Virginia Construction Code. Add the following note to the general notes page: Buildings or structures built before January 1, 1985 must have an asbestos survey performed in order to apply for a demolition permit. Asbestos removal permits are required if positive for such from Albemarle County and VDOLI. Contact VDOLI for their additional requirements and permits for demolition projects at 540.562.3580x 131. See General Note #36. Albemarle County Fire Rescue — Howard Lagomarsino: 1. A Knox Box will be required. Please place a note indicating this on the plan. The location of this can be coordinate with the Fire Marshal's Office. A note has been added to Sheet C4.0 and a detail has been added to Sheet C1.2. 2. Please provide ISO needed fire flow for the structure. The building will not be sprinklered. 3. Please provide ACSA available fire flow test. ACSA performed a fire flow test on 3/18/2021. The results are included on Sheet C3.2. 4. Clarify width of access road and at to building. Need to provide an emergency apparatus access road to the building that allows fire apparatus to access all sides of grade level within 150 feet. All parts of the proposed building are within 150' of Seminole Lane. 5. Clarify location of existing hydrant. A "HYD" label has been added. See Sheet C2.0. 6. Page 2 of submitted plans, ACSA General Water and Sewer Conditions Mentions a fire sprinkler system, please clarify location of fire department connection. The building will not be sprinklered. These are general notes that ACSA has asked us to include on our plans. We have added a strikethrough to the lines referencing a fire sprinkler system. 7. Fire Department Connection must be Charlottesville/Albemarle Threads. The building will not be sprinklered, so a FDC is not proposed for this building. 8. Clarify there will be a fire hydrant within 100 feet of the sprinkler connection and arranged so that when the fire apparatus is connected to both the hydrant and the fire department connection, access to the building is not blocked. The building will not be sprinklered, so this is not applicable. Albemarle County Service Authority— Richard Nelson: 1.
