Recommended 4/2/2021 Corrective Action Deadline: Targeted Re- 4/2/2021 Inspection Date: Comments: Biofilter has failed, all media, plants, and stone must be removed and replaced with new to ensure proper drainage. Filter must dewater within 48 hours of a rain event. As BMP is currently, measure does not drain and holds water for extended periods of time. All outfalls must be free of sediment and debris. A thought as to why the filter has failed, if the higher clay content 2013 spec bio mix was used, rather then the 2011 approved mix, a settle line of impervious clay may have formed. Consult your spec sheet from supplier to confirm what specifications were used in the manufacturing of the bio mix. *Refers to applicable regulation found in the most recent publication of the State Water Control Law (Va.
