Thank you for revising the plat notes with regards to the Water Supply Watershed note. This comment has now been
addressed. I have discussed comment number 1 with Planning and Zoning Staff and we have come to the conclusion
that this comment has still not been addressed. You are correct in citing the Subdivision Ordinance that Health Director
approval of soils work is not required for this Plat, however, we still need to see the locations of the drainfields to ensure
the drainfields are on the same parcel as the existing dwelling unit. An updated comment letter is attached. Thank you
so much. Let me know if you have any questions.

I've attached a copy of Section 14-208.1 Boundary line adjustments.
The proposed boundary line adjustment involves lots that will result in areas greater than 5 acres.
So, we believe Health Department approval is not required.
If you have further questions, please consult with Bill Fritz or Francis MacCall.
We'll revise the watershed note to simplify things.
Gwen will send a version with that note revised.

The plat has been revised to reflect your comments, dated March 18, 2021, as follows:
1. Drainfield locations are not required for a Boundary Line Adjustment containing lots greater than 5 acres.
2. The Easement for American Towers LLC (D.B.4407-630 thru 644) is shown on the plat. It is not a separate
parcel of land. The T.M. 39-12A reference is for taxation purposes. Please discuss this with other planners.
3. The plat has been revised to show the approximate locations of the streams and stream buffers according
to the GIS data.
4. The requirement is to state whether or not the property lies within a water supply watershed. Lickinghole
Creek is not a designated Water Supply Watershed according to the Albemarle County Code.
Water supply protection area. The term "water supply protection area" means those areas of land within the
County that are within the watershed of a public water supply reservoir or water supply intake, and those
areas shall consist of all land within the County that drains naturally to the South Fork Rivanna Reservoir,
Beaver Creek Reservoir, Totier Creek Reservoir, Sugar Hollow Reservoir, Ragged Mountain Reservoir, Chris
Greene Lake, the North Fork Rivanna River intake, and to any impoundment or water supply intake designated
in the future by the board of supervisors as a public water supply reservoir. Watershed. The term "watershed"
means a defined land area drained by a river or stream, karst system, or system of connecting rivers or
streams such that all surface water within the area flows through a single outlet; provided that in karst areas,
the karst feature to which water drains may be considered the single outlet for the watershed.

[14-302(B)71 Reservior watershed; agricultural forestal district. A notation as to whether the land is within an
Albemarle County and/or City of Charlottesville water supply watershed or an agricultural -forestal district.
Thus moving forward all you need to state is: "The land is within an Albemarle County and/or City of
Charlottesville water supply watershed" or you may go into more detail and label which water supply
watershed it is located in.
A revised date of March 18, 2021 has been added to each sheet of the plat.
Please review the revised plat at your earliest convenience and let us know if it is ready for signatures.

Charlottesville water supply watershed" or you may go into more detail and label which water supply
watershed it is located in.
A revised date of March 18, 2021 has been added to each sheet of the plat.
