I was writing up the AM-E for this design, but I am not sure it needs a AM-E exception. The posted speed is 35 MPH, so the partial spacing entrance requirements is 250 feet from intersection to intersection. Based on the VDOT standards, the intersection distance is measured from the center of the intersection to the center of the intersection. We have this required spacing, so I don't think it needs an AM-E. Can you confirm. Thx. See Engineering comments for further information. Now, as I am preparing to send these comments out to the Applicant, it appears John did not comment on a WPO plan in his comments (attached). I just wanted to reach out for clarification since I am new to Plan review. Do they need to submit a WPO plan for this Minor Amendment? Thanks so much.
