Ms. Steljes and Jeff,
I've looked over what both of you submitted late last week.
Its looking good.
There are still some minor items that can be take care of right before, or as, the items are all signed.
Here are those minor outstanding things to handle in the process of getting everything signed:
1. 1 do not think I've gotten the revised affidavit's yet. Ms. Steljes, I think you were going to wait until you were
getting things signed. Please just ensure that the following items are fully addressed before you have them
signed and notarized.
a. We discussed on the phone that you will submit two affidavit of family relationship, one for each owner.
b. Ensure that no "in-laws" are included.
c. Ensure the relationship for each of the owners is correct, since the two owners have a different
relationship to the grantee.
2. For the Declaration will both owners be signing at the same time and place? If not, then a second notary area
(one under each owner) should be provided.
3. For the Deed, the date in the first sentence still states the 15`h of March.
4. As discussed with Ms. Steljes late last week, the order of recordation should be considered and decided. At this
time both document state that the plat is being attached/included in that recordation. Just chat with your
lawyer or surveyor about what makes the most sense, and that at time of recordation that whichever legal
documents state that the plat is attached actually have the plat attached/included in that recordation.
So after the above is handled:
A. Get all items signed, notarized and sealed.
B. Scan the legal documents.
C. Submit to me:
a. COPIES Scans of the signed and notarized legal documents (ensure all, including the affidavits, are
included).
b. 2 or 3 signed, notarized and sealed original plats. We have to have the originals since the County is
signing them as well. The County will be keeping 1 original.
D. I will do one last quick check, especially for the items I listed above.
E. If all is well, I will have the appropriate County staff sign the plat.
F. Once the plat is signed and approved I will notify you that your original signed plats are ready for pickup at the
CDD Front Desk.
G. You or your representative will record all required legal documents (this includes the affidavits) and the plat.
I hope this all makes sense.
It is close.
As I mentioned on the phone last week, after you accomplish "C." above the other steps the County staff takes usually
only takes a few days.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Be well,

Good morning all,
Paty- I have attached the revisions from our attorney for the Deed and Declaration.
I do still need to address the comment requiring the revised affidavit. Can you please provide the blank template for
that? I'm searching through these chains of emails without success.
Jeff- Thank you SO much for your quick turn around. You've been so helpful during this process!
Thank you to you both,
Gracie

Ms. Steljes & Jeff,
Good morning.
Attached please find the 3rd round comments on SUB2020-205 New Parcel X - A Family Division.
After receiving the document that created the "life trust', as discussed, I reached out to the County Attorney's office.
They agreed that as long as Forrest McDaniel and Forrest Russel McDaniel are the grandfather and father of the
proposed recipient then this can be a Family Division.
So, that issue is resolved.
However, in that discussion the County Attorney's office said that both Forrest McDaniel and Forrest Russel McDaniel
are owners and must be signing all documents.
So, there are additional edits required for all documents.
Jeff, This also means the plat has to have both owners.
So there is now a change required on the plat.
The change on the plat also means all of the legal documents that reference it require that revision date to be updated.
I go into more specifics in the comments.
Please read over them and let me know if you have any questions.
