The owner has requested a special exception to reduce the required 125-foot setback from the side property line for a homestay use. The homestay would occur in a basement apartment located in the rear of the owner's existing residence. PROJECT: SE202000020 PROPOSED: Request to reduce the required 125-foot setback from the front property line for a homestay use in the basement apartment located in the rear of the owner's existing residence. There is no detriment to any abutting lot ii. There is no harm to public health, safety, or welfare This petition will be reviewed at the ALBEMARLE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2021.
