SECTION 06100 - ROUGH CARPENTRY
General: All work is to be of the highest standards
of the trade and shall comply with all applicable
local, state and national codes, manufacturer
and trade industry guidelines, and good
practice.
Materials shall include: Fasteners and
Anchorages: Of size, type, material and finish
suited to application shown.
Fireblocking: provide solid wood materials
between studs as required Blocking: provide solid
wood blocking at all cabinet, toilet accessory,
future grab bars, and shelving areas. Coordinate
with interior elevations.
SECTION 06400 - MILLWORK
Cabinets: All cabinets to be coordinated w/
owner. Mantra classic Shaker stained Bark or
in Snow finish. Solid plywood construction. Slab
doors with soft closers.
Provide pre -drilled holes for adjustable shelves at
all cabinet interiors.
Countertops: Corian Solid Surface
Hardware: Provide 120-degree European style
door hinges. Provide full extension drawer glide
and soft close doors.
SECTION 07200 - INSULATION
General: Install insulation where required and as
indicated by the drawings in accordance with
manufacturers' recommendations and good
practice.
Materials include: Blown Cellulose as described
in the drawings. Open cell spray insulation as
described in the drawings.
SECTION 07410 - SIDING
Siding: 5/16" Hardie Plank 8.25" W/ 8" Reveal Lap
Siding. Color of lap siding: Hardie Plank Light Mist.
Hardie panel vertical siding Batten Board with
3/4" Strips. Color batten board: Hardie Plank Night
Gray.
Color of trim: white.
SECTION 07920 - SEALANTS AND CAULKING
General: Provide caulking, sealants and
associated work to ensure weathertight
construction.
Materials include: Sealant: acrylic latex caulk
by Sonneborn, Sonolac, Tremco, Sika Chemical
Corp. or approved equal.
Joint Backer: non -staining, non -absorbent closed
cell polyethylene. All sealants to match color of
adjacent materials unless otherwise noted.
SECTION 08100 - FIBERGLASS DOORS
General: Doors and entrances to be as specified
on the door schedule. Provide tempered,
insulated glass as required by code.
SECTION 08200 - WOOD DOORS
General: Doors to be as specified on the door
schedule.
SECTION 09250 - GYPSUM BOARD
General: All Partitions shall be finished with
drywall, finished smooth and even, with no seams
or patches visible, ready for painting or wall
covering. Provide level as described in drawings.
SECTION 09510 - CEILING SYSTEMS
General: Provide gypsum board ceiling on 1 /2"
R.C. between units or as specified in drawings.
SECTION 09650 - FLOORING
General: Contractor to provide 'flash' patch
and/or spot leveling as required prior to
installation of finish materials.
Carpet: Shaw Dyersburg II Carpet 15' in Colors:
Crimson, Castle Grey, Colonial, Winter Wheat,
Dusty Trail, Driftwood.
Sheet Vinyl: Congoleum ArmorCore Pro UR
UP814: Ethereal - Stormy Gray or Sand drift tan.
Vinyl Plank: Procore Pro Elizabeth Oak 6" Water
Resistant Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring
SECTION 09900 - PAINTING
General: Painting will be done according to
manufacturers' recommendations and good
practice.
Interior areas: All interior color schemes to be
determined by owner.
SECTION 10800 - TOILET ACCESSORIES
General: Provide solid wood blocking at all
accessory locations.
Materials: All accessory items to be Furnished and
Installed by Contractor. Coordinate with Owner.
SECTION 15400 - PLUMBING
General: See Plumbing Drawings. The contractor
is responsible for providing material and labor
for the plumbing system. This work shall include
development and submission of required
drawings including riser diagrams, for obtaining
required permits and approvals.
SECTION 15500 - HEATING, VENTILATING AND AIR
CONDITIONING
General: See Mechanical Drawings. The
contractor is responsible for providing material
and labor for the mechanical system.
Coordination with other trades is required.
General system description:
• Provide permit documents as required
by local authority. HVAC Design/Build
contractor will be responsible for obtaining all
permits and government approvals required
to install and operate the system.
• Provide high efficiency heat pumps (16 SEER
or better)
• Provide design drawings for architect review
• Provide as -built drawings for Owner's
permanent record
• Provide operational `walk-thru' with end user
at completion of installation
• Provide two copies of all warranty,
maintenance, and operation manuals to
Owner at completion of installation.
Visibility of all mechanical equipment from the
Entrance Corridor shall be eliminated.
SECTION 16500 - ELECTRICAL
General: The Electrical work is to be design -
build by Contractor, including engineer
seal if required. The design shall include all
required loading, riser diagrams, and other
documentation for obtaining the required
permits and approvals. Coordination with other
trades is required. The Contractor is responsible
for providing material and labor for the electrical
system. Provide emergency lighting as required.
No fire alarm system is required in these buildings.
All communications, data, audio, and cable will
be provided by the Owner and are not part of
the base contract for these buildings. All devices
to be white unless otherwise noted. Care will be
taken to install all electrical devices to minimize
acoustical transference between adjacent
spaces (i.e., no back-to-back outlets)
