Engineering has reviewed initial site plan, and offers following plan revision comments for final site plan submittal.
1. CV-101
a. GIS indicates record of (past) leaking underground storage tanks. Please offer commentary or
evidence of coordination with state agency (VDEQ), or remediation completion, if required.

a. Recommend pedestrian crosswalk striping if pedestrians on walks along Rt. 29 and
Greenbrier Drive have right of way over vehicles entering /exiting Wawa.
b. Please revise shading for concrete for fuel canopy, if intended to be light duty concrete.
c. Where island width =9.5', revise bullnose radius to 4.75'.
d. Provide a gap between bollards (diagonally opposite CG-12A ramp of walk that climbs slight
incline from Greenbrier to Wawa) wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, similar to
bollard spacing at HC parking space on west side of the Wawa building.
e. Label TimbarrierTM, to clarify location.
f. Label CG-6, spilling curb/gutter.
3. CS-501
a. Provide VDOT step detail, inlet shaping detail, pipe bedding detail (ST-1, IS-1, PB-I).
4. CS-502
a. Provide VDOT equivalence determination document that S. 1. Storey TimbarrierTm product
meets or exceeds VDOT minimum standards for barrier protection.
b. Provide surface mounted handrail detail.
c. Provide pavement widening detail for Greenbrier Drive (VDOT WP-2), if required by VDOT.
Coordinate work within RW with VDOT. Obtain land use permit for activities within public
RW.
5. CG-101
a. Note: Nutrient credit purchase is proposed; ref. change to state administrative code
concerning eligible nutrient credit banks. This site discharges to Meadow Creek, evaluated
unimpaired, so this project may purchase from eligible banks within same or adjacent 8-digit
HUC.
b. Submit VSMP /WPO Application at earliest convenience.

c. Transfer stormwater-related table data and calculations to the WPO plan. Site plans do not
approve VSMP/WPO plans. WPO plans do not approve site plans.
d. WPO plan approval is required prior to final site plan approval.
e. Conceptual stormwater narrative may remain; graphic SWM facility details, symbols, etc.
may remain, just not routing or calculation details, which should appear on the WPO plan.
f. Unless Str. SWMI to Str. 100 is a detention pipe, revise grade to 0.50% Min. per 31d item, p.
2, Drainage Plan checklist for plan reviewers.
6. CU-101
a. Provide and label flow arrows for storm pipes.
b. Label storm pipes.
c. Provide and label SWM facility easement for underground SWM facility. Ref. easement

d. Provide and label public drainage easements for any pipe/s downstream of underground
SWM facility, or any pipe that conveys storm runoff from a public right-of-way.
e. Utility Note references CU-501, Utility Details; please include sheet CU-501.
f. Provide utility /storm pipe profiles. Ensure no conflict between storm pipes that cross in
facility entrance /exit to Greenbrier Drive. Additional comments possible.
g. Provide VDOT design tables, LD-204 (Storm Inlet Computations), and LD-229 (Storm Drain
Design Computations).
7. CP-101
a. Remove any canopy -species (American elm) landscaping within SWM facility easement.
