RE: ARB-2020-112: Pet Supplies Plus Wall and Tenant Panel Signs (061WO-01-OA-00400)
Dear Applicant,
We have reviewed your request for the above -noted sign(s) and have approved the design(s) for the
Architectural Review Board as illustrated in the attached drawing(s) with original drawing date of August 19,
2020 and latest revision date of May 11, 2021. You may consider this letter your Certificate of Appropriateness.
This approval is specifically conditioned on the following:
1. Execution of the design indicated on the final approved plans, attachments, materials, samples, and
other submittal items presented.
2. Removing the existing cabinet signs and repairing the wall area behind them as indicated in the
approved Comprehensive Sign Plan and illustrated in the Pet Supplies Plus sign drawings.
Please note the following:
1. Zoning, building, and other approvals may still be pending for your sign permit. This approval is
only for the Architectural Review Board/Entrance Corridor.
2. This ARB approval is only one approval required prior to installing a sign. An approved sign permit is
also required. DO NOT proceed with the construction or installation of your sign until you have
received your signed permit. If you have questions about the status of a sign permit application,
please contact the permit intake staff at 296-5832.
3. Any changes in the approved design will require a new application and additional review.
4. "Opaque" means that light will not pass through the material. Consequently, the color of the
background portion of the face of the tenant panel on the monument sign will not be visible when the
sign is internally illuminated at night. If you have any question about this requirement for an opaque
background, do not proceed with the construction or installation of the sign until you have spoken with
County staff.
