1. [32.5.2(a)] Tax Map Parcel 77-40A and TMP 78-22A shall be listed on the cover sheet as both of these properties have
improvements being made and are part of this site plan. Staff does not need to re-review the plan for this item, just ensure it is on
the signature copies. Once this is accomplished this plan is now ready for County approval. Please deliver 4 hard copies of the
plan to the County office building for approval. Our lobby hours are Monday,Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30am to 4pm.

Jesse,
Every time its resubmitted it goes back in the queue with the other plans. Thus we have not looked at the
resubmittal yet, but it has been distributed to the various reviewers. I'm hoping to have Planning's review
completed by the end of next week.

Khris,
Regarding the VFX-L fixtures. It's second cutsheet shows a BUG system rating. This is an acronym developed by the IES
(Illuminating Engineering Society)that rates how much Backlight, Uplight, and Glare is emitted from the light. As you
can see, there is a 0 rating on the Uplight category for all VFX-L models. This means 0 lumens are emitted above the
fixture, thus meeting the county's full cutoff requirements.Additionally, these lights are intended to be removed or kept
as an emergency fixture.
Regarding the PWM fixture, the picture on the cut sheets shows a shield that comes standard with the light. It surrounds
the bulb and only allows light to be emitted down. These lights are also intended to be removed or kept as an
emergency fixture.
Regarding the W4250MH00 and W4175MH00 fixtures, the luminaire in the foreground are the fixtures in question. They
are the exact same fixtures just different wattage ratings(250W and 175W).

Jesse,
For fixtures VFX-L(57b, 59d, 6Od, 62d) and PWM (296a/b, 3O2a) staff is unable to determine if these fixtures are full
cutoff. If they are to remain more information will be needed, such as a photo of the fixture(s),to determine if the
lighting is installed in a way that makes it full cutoff.
For fixtures PXHW enough information has been provided to confirm the fixture will be full cutoff.
Regarding fixtures WD425OMHOO and W4175MHOO shown in the picture on sheet 30, is WD425OMHOO in the
foreground and W4175MHOO in the background?
Thanks,
Khris

Chris,
See the link provided Here for the updated July Minor Site Plan Amendment submission form our FTP site.
This is a full quality PDF that allows visibility of most FC values on the photometric sheets. The only FC values that are
somewhat illegible are the max FC values on each sheet. However, this max FC is shown on each sheet in the calculation
summary table.
We have also added an additional sheet"ED4" at the end of the originally July submission to display a picture of the
W425OMHOO and the W4175MHOO fixtures. The addition of this sheet caused the sheet index on the cover sheet to
change so we have updated that as well. Please note that both the cover sheet and ED4 have a different seal dates than
the rest of the submission.
Let us know if you have any trouble accessing the link.

Khris,
RE: SDP202000046 Moores Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant(Lighting Plan)-Minor Site Plan Amendment
I request you to look at the Moores Creek response from the applicant below and respond, I offer the following:
1)VFX-L: I see sheet ED2 contains VFX-L,which it's not clearly labeled, it's called vSHINE Flood XL. This is a very
powerful light at 65,000 lumens, and it's a floodlight. Is this permissible?I cant tell if this is full cutoff as it doesn't
clearly show it shinning down, rather it appears to be a spot light/flood light type light. Please comment on the
appropriateness of this light and whether or not its approvable. I will note that its labeled as"to be removed or kept as
emergency fixture".
2) PWM: I see sheet ED3 contains PWM,which it's not clearly labeled, it's called Petrolux Wet locations Medium.
Please comment on the appropriateness of this light and whether or not its approvable.I will note that its labeled as"to be
removed or kept as emergency fixture".
3)PXHW: I see sheet ED1 contains PXHW,which is labeled as Petrolux LED High Bay,PXHW.This light is 12,000
lumens and does not appear to be fullcuttoff. Please comment on the appropriateness of this light and whether or not its
approvable. This seems to be a new fixture.
4)As we know they are missing a cutsheet for the WD4250MH00 fixture. Will you accept a new sheet in the site plan
signed with this photo and signature and seal with a different date added to the previous submission?
And to their first question yes we will accept a submission from the Hazen and Sawyer FTP site as a workaround, as long
as we can access it.

Chris,
I'm reaching out to you to see if we can clear up some of the comments we have been having with these submittals.
First off, I believe the major issue is legibility of the photometric points and luminaire cutsheets on the sheets. It is my
understanding that your submission site requires a reduced quality submission in order to handle the size of this PDF.
4
I
We believe this is causing the Iegi ` uy issues you are experiencing.Would you a submission from the Hazen and
Sawyer FTP site as a workaround? We would be able to upload a full quality PDF.
Second, the cutsheets for VFX-L, PWM, and PXHW were submitted in the last submission. The VFX-L is on sheet ED2,the
PWM is on ED3, and the PXHW is on ED1.
Finally,we understand we are missing a cutsheet for the WD4250MH00 fixture. As explained before, the cutsheet for
this fixture was unable to be found by Hazen or Moore's Creek staff and so it seems we have come to the agreement
that a photo would suffice to show that is fullcutoff.Would you accept a new sheet signed with this photo and signature
and seal with a different date added to the previous submission?
Thanks,
