Richard, -
SDP2018-70 Lighthouse Instruments—Final Site Plan
SUB2019-90 Lighthouse Instruments—Easement Plat
On the 27th of August I received a revised easement plat(SUB2019-90)associated with the lighthouse instrument's final
site plan.Additionally,I received a few sheets of the fmal site plan(SDP2018-70)which have been revised and depict the
proposed changes covered in the easement plat. "See the attached updated sheets that show the sight distance easements
added 5'off the sight distance lines on the Lighthouse property. For the line west of the western entrance this did require
the two street trees to shift back a few feet. We also expanded the Landscape Maintenance Easement to be 12'wide in
that area to allow for those trees."Are you willing to review these changes to the site plan and the easement plat
electronically or do you require hard copies to conduct your review?
Let me know thanks.

David and Chris,
Just wanted to be aware we worked on some change to the waterline with Richard and he is ready to sign for approval.
Once we get your final ok with no more comments on the Road and Site plan beyond getting the easements recorded
we will send him a set to sign.
Thank you,
Jonathan

Jonathan,
The design looks good. We will need 3 hard copies with Craig's stamp and signature, with updated water/sewer data
sheets, and the maintenance agreement prior to County approval.

We have made those updates per tL ___ached update layout plan and profile. ___Med note 3 on the layout plan
about providing restraints at all joints. Some of the storm crossings are a little less than 1.5'to make sure we have 3.5'
of cover but all more than 12".
Please review and let us know if this satisfies all remaining comments so we can hopefully get this plan to approval.
Thank you for you help to finalize this,
Jonathan

Jonathan,
This alignment looks good. I have added a comment that these joints need to be restrained and added a valve after the
meter to keep the building in service if maintenance of the line behind the building is required.

Richard,
Please see the exhibit provided. We've swapped out the (2)45 degree bends with the 90-degree bend and have the
water easement flush with the retaining wall, as opposed to running through it. There is now also 5'of clear space on
the sides and back of the vault. Outside of the area where the water line crosses over the storm, generally, there is at
least 5' of horizontal separation between water and storm
Please see the attached sketch revised to address the layout easement comments. Please let us know if this addresses
the comments.
Thank you,
Jonathan

We will be able to work with that. L__, -'_her comments were to have the 90 deg end going to the hydrant and •i`
provide 5 feet of easement on the sides and back of the meter vault. Also, include Craig's original stamp and signature
on the cover sheets.
Feel free to send me a PDF to review prior to submitting the copies.

Richard,
We can make that change if you all are ok with the extra storm crossings. The storm has enough cover to do 3.5" of
cover and 1.5'of separation.
Thank you for working with us to find a solution,
Jonathan

Jonathan,
Attached is another rendition after some thought of restrained joints in relation the storm pipe. This should be doable if
we cross on top of the storm with a minimum 12-inch separation. If we need to we can have min cover at 3 feet for the
crossings. We would like to maintain the min 5 feet of horizontal separation between the storm.
Let me know if this is doable.

That would be easier at this point to .Hove the waterline and not the storm. -
What is the minimum separation yo all typically want to see center to center from water to storm? We currently
have 5' at that minimum point and could continue to parallel the storm line to the right of that location.
Per ACSA's pipe installation detail the trench only needs to be the pipe width plus 16"which is a fairly narrow trench for
this line.
There is at least 5'from the center of the waterline to the retaining wall of the loading dock in the tightest spot which.
Thank you for checking into this,
Jonathan

Jonathan,
I spoke with Jeremy some regarding this and will discuss with Pete on Friday, but wanted to explore another
possibility. A portion of the easement may still be within the wall, but would help my argument to allow this. Let me
know if this would affect the WPO submission, and I will make the case as previously submitted.

Jonathan,
Looking over the Lighthouse site plan,-1 see the loading dock is encroaching into the water main easement. Attached is a
redline PDF showing a possible solution by adding a storm manhole to get the water main shifted further away from the
loading area. I had a few other minor comments regarding this, but wanted to get your thoughts on this.
