Comment Response Letter
Dear Mr. Moore:
We have reviewed all of your comments from April 8, 2021 and made the necessary revisions.
Please find our responses to the comments below in bold lettering.
1. The match lines from sheets C3.03 to C3.04 do not appear to actually match and some
proposed contours for SB1 appear to be missing. Appears to be repeated on different
page match lines as well. Please review and correct.
Match lines have been revised on sheets C3.03-C3.08 to match. All proposed contours for S81
have been shown. Please note that there is a wall on the western side of S81.
2. Underground utility lines are required to cross VDOT R/W perpendicular to travelway.
The proposed Dominion Underground lines may not be approved as shown.
Dominion underground lines have been revised to cross VDOT R/W perpendicular to the
travelway.
3. Proposed water line on Rte. 631 (Old Lynchburg Road) needs to be moved from under
the asphalt area into the grassed shoulder of the road. This item was missed in the
original review and will be corrected with this amendment.
The water line on Route 631 has been relocated to be 4' outside of the solid white line
denoting the edge of the travelway per email correspondence on April 12, 2021. This will keep
the trench for the waterline out of the travelway and will not compromise the integrity of the
existing guardrail.
