Dear Mr. Showalter:
Hopefully, this letter will address your concerns about the existing Dominion Energy easements
encumbering the property at 2050 Avon Court, Charlottesville, Virginia.
I have reviewed the information that you have provided and I see no reason to deny your request
for permission to install the proposed entrance road and retaining walls within the two existing
VEPCO easements (DB 1432 PG 13) and (DB 424 PG 434).
Also, you have permission to construct your proposed building within the VEPCO easement(DB
424 PG 434) as there are no electric facilities within this easement. This easement will be
vacated in the near future as it is no longer needed.
Please feel free to use this letter in your permitting process with Albemarle County as proof that
Dominion Energy is willing to cooperate with you concerning the easement issue.
