Gregg,
Have you gone back to Sandstone Beige? On 3/24 you indicated it was a problem and preferred Monterey Taupe. I
approved Monterey Taupe on the following day, with Gray Slate.
1
1. Please email confirmation which color you are choosing—Sandstone Beige or Monterey Taupe, and adjust the
elevations and materials list if Monterey Taupe is the choice.
2. Please add the Gray Slate id label under the Hardie Panel label on the elevation drawings so that everything is
perfectly clear.
Thanks.

Margaret,
Good morning. See attached a end unit exhibit for Building 3 and revised exhibit for Building 1, which has the revised
color name listed. I provided a new materials list, where the addition of Sandstone Beige is the only material update.
Let me know what else you need to button this up the way you want to finalize it.
Thanks for all your time on this project!!

Gregg,
Just the side elevation for Building 3 will be fine. Or, if it would simplify things, makes sense and still be accurate, you
could add a note to the Building 1 elevation sheet saying something like, "Building 3 side elevation is mirror image with
xyz siding...." and add the correct siding color notes and images.

Hi Margaret,
I can update the Building 1 front and side elevation.
Building 3 doesn't have a submittal (!)—do you want a full document with front and side elevations? Or just a side
elevation?

Margaret,
Good morning. About the Sandstone Beige, we would like to propose an alternate color, since this color is 15%more
expensive than Hardie's 18-color palette.
Lauren McCarthy, our Division President, asks—can Monterrey Taupe be paired with the Gray Slate? Is this a
combination that you could approve?
Thanks for your time and consideration on this,we appreciate it!

Margaret,
Thanks for looking at this and approving the use of Gray Slate on the south elevations of Building 1 and Building 3.
Would Sandstone Beige be an appropriate substitution for Cobblestone on the south elevations of Building 1 and
Building 3?Would this pair appropriately with Gray Slate?
I know this conversation kind of circles back on itself in some ways;thanks for your patience in helping me work through
and understand.

Gregg,
Replacing Pearl Gray with Gray Slate would be fine; however, I'm still concerned about the Cobblestone for those two
end elevations.
You are proposing six siding colors for Block 8B.Two of those colors(Cobblestone and Pearl Gray) are lighter than the
others. Can you revise the distribution of the six siding colors so that the lighter two do not appear on the south
elevations of buildings 1 and 3 (without also changing to the lighter brick colors)?
Thanks.

Hi Margaret,
I hope you're doing well and will get to enjoy this beautiful day!
With regard to our proposed colors and the discussion of the assisted living facility—could we keep the
Cobblestone and substitute Gray Slate in place of the original Pearl Gray?Would this gray give you the saturation value
you're maybe looking for?
If you think this is something you could approve but need to"see," let me know and I'll revise the 8B Building 1 exhibit.
Thanks so much,
Gregg O'Donnell

Margaret,
Good morning. The assisted living building is adding siding and appears to have a lighter color like our Cobblestone
selection; in this context, is our proposed combination of colors for the side elevations acceptable? We can do a call
sometime if that's easier to discuss.

Gregg,
The elevation drawings (and the rendering, snip below) for the Building 1 side elevations show 2 siding colors. On the
printed elevation sheets the colors look like grey and tan, but the elevation sheets don't assign names to the siding
colors. I was asking for confirmation on those color names.Your response raises another question, since you've
identified only one color. So,just to clarify: do the south (side)elevations of Buildings 1 and 3 use one or two siding
colors? If two, what are those color names? Please note, my question was about Buildings 1 and 3 (not 1 and 2).
Thanks for your help.
