I do think the logo as proposed is overscaled and should be reduced in size.
The reduction indicated in the snip below would be more appropriately scaled in my opinion.
I don't believe the board wanted to do a full review of the sign.
Can you bring this up as other business to confirm your review once the logo is reduced in scale?

I'd like to have your take on the revised Aldi sign design (attached).The sign type has changed to one that is approvable.
The current design, however, shows a logo that is much taller than the channel letters, although the wall area easily
accommodates both.The guidelines state that graphics should be an integral part of the sign, and they discourage
