1. Board of Supervisor approval of a maintenance agreement for the sidewalks within public
easements located on private lots is required prior to plat approval. As stated in Planning Division
comments above, transportation planning staff agree that all efforts should be made to revise parcel
boundaries so that sidewalks are located within the ROW instead of putting public easements
containing sidewalks on private lots. Otherwise, please provide evidence that revising parcel
boundaries is not possible (due to zoning regulations, Code of Development standards, etc.) and the
proposed easements are the only solution.
