STORMWATER CALCULATIONS CAN BE FOUND IN THE STORMWATER PLAN SHEETS. PERMITS PROJECT DISTURBANCE IS MORE THAN 1 ACRE. THEREFORE, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING A VIRGINIA STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (VSMP) PERMIT AND MAINTAINING A STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN (SWPPP). EROSION & SEDIMENT CONTROL MAINTENANCE IN GENERAL, THE PROJECT AREA SHALL BE CHECKED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF EACH RAINFALL EVENT OR WEEKLY IF NO RAINFALL EVENT HAS OCCURRED, WHICH EVER IS MORE FREQUENT TO ENSURE THAT ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL DEVICES ARE IN WORKING ORDER. STORM DRAIN INLET PROTECTION SEDIMENT DEPOSITS SHALL BE REMOVED WHEN DEPOSITS REACH APPROXIMATELY ONE-HALF THE DESIGN DEPTH OF THE TRAP. 5. TREE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROLS SHALL BE INSTALLED OR MAINTAINED IN A MANNER WHICH DOES NOT RESULT IN SOIL BUILDUP WITHIN TREE DRIP LINE AREAS. HEAVY EQUIPMENT, VEHICULAR TRAFFIC, OR STOCKPILES OF ANY CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS (INCLUDING TOP SOIL) SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED WITHIN THE DRIP LINE OF ANY TREE TO BE RETAINED. 6. DUST CONTROL IN PLANNING AND MAINTENANCE FOR DUST CONTROL, LIMITING THE AMOUNT OF SOIL DISTURBANCE AT ANY ONE TIME SHOULD BE A KEY OBJECTIVE. TEMPORARY STABILIZATION MEASURES SHALL BE CHECKED REGULARLY AND RE -APPLIED AS NECESSARY TO REDUCE DUST EMISSIONS. 5. DIVERSION DIKE THE MEASURE SHALL BE INSPECTED AFTER EVERY STORM AND REPAIRS MADE TO THE DIKE, FLOW CHANNEL, OUTLET OR SEDIMENT TRAPPING FACILITY AS NECESSARY. SEDIMENT BASIN EMERGENCY SPILLWAY SHOULD BE CHECKED REGULARLY TO ENSURE THAT ITS LINING IS WELL ESTABLISHED AND EROSION -RESISTANT. WHEN THE SEDIMENT REACHES THE CLEAN -OUT LEVEL, IT SHALL BE REMOVED AND PROPERLY DISPOSED OF. 9. SOIL STABILIZATION BLANKETS AND MATTING ALL SOIL STABILIZATION BLANKETS AND MATTING SHOULD BE INSPECTED PERIODICALLY FOLLOWING INSTALLATION, PARTICULARLY AFTER RAINSTORMS TO CHECK FOR EROSION AND UNDERMINING. However, in the event that the Transportation hnprovement that is ultimately installed costs less than the cost of a Signal, the UVAF Contribution shall be based on the cost of the improvement ultimately installed, rather than the cost of a Signal. c. Upon a determination by VDOT and the Albemarle County Director of Community Development that any Transportation Improvement is required pursuant to the terms of paragraph 9(a) herein, the County shall provide written notice to the Foundation (the "Notice"), of the amount of the UVAF Contribution for the Transportation Improvements. The Foundation shall have One Hundred Twenty (120) days from the date of delivery of the Notice to provide the UVAF Contribution, which may be in the form of a bond. If the Transportation Improvements have not been completed within five (5) years after the Foundation's delivery of the UVAF Contribution, the UVAF Contribution shall be returned to the Foundation. If the County has not delivered the Notice within five (5) years after the date of the permanent opening of the Connector Road, the Foundation shall be relieved of any obligation for the Transportation Improvements. 10. THE SITE IS LOCATED SOUTH OF BERWICK ROAD, WEST OF THE BIRDWOOD CLUBHOUSE, AND EAST OF THE SPORTS CLUB FACILITY. THE PROJECT AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 9.33 ACRES AND WILL DISTURB APPROXIMATELY 9.33 ACRES. THIS PROJECT WILL INCREASE THE IMPERVIOUS SURFACE WITHIN THE PROJECT AREA BY 3.13 ACRES. THE SUMMARY TABLE BELOW SHOWS THE COMBINED PRE AND POST -DEVELOPED RUNOFF FOR THESE EVENTS FROM THE COMBINED SITE AT THE PROJECTS OUTFALL.
