The Albemarle County Architectural Review Board, at its meeting on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, completed a
preliminary review of the above -noted request.
Regarding the Certificate of Appropriateness for the ground equipment and base station:
Because the ground equipment and chain link fencing are not expected to be visible from the EC, the ARB
approved the Certificate of Appropriateness for the ground equipment and base station. You may consider this
letter your Certificate of Appropriateness.
Regarding visibility of the monopole:
Staff recommends that the ARB forward the following recommendation to the Agent:
1. The ARB finds that the proposed location will sufficiently minimize the visibility of the monopole from the
1-64 Entrance Corridor.
Please note the following:
1. Other approvals may still be pending for your application. This approval is only for the Architectural
Review Board/Entrance Corridor.
