This letter is to notify you as an adjacent property owner of the above -referenced petition described as follows:
PROJECT: AFD202100004 Hatton District Review
Periodic (I0-year)review of the Hatton Agricultural and Forestal District, as required in section 15.2-4311 of the Code of
Virginia. The district is composed of the following described lands, identified by parcel identification number: Tax map 135:
parcels 13, 13A, 136, 14B, 15, 15A, 15C, 17, 18, 19, 22, 22A, 22C, 22C1, 22C2. Tax map 136: parcels 2A, 68, 8H, 9 (part), 9A2,
9B, 9C, 9D1, 9E. The area is designated as Rural Area in the Comprehensive Plan and the included properties are zoned RA
Rural Areas.
Agricultural and Forestal Districts are voluntary conservation districts that landowners canjoin to support the County's
efforts to protect the Rural Areas. Land in the Districts is subject to limitations on subdivisions and some other
development activity. Your property is not in the District and is not subject to those limitations, but is adjacent to the
District. You are receiving this letter to notify you of a public hearing on the periodic review of the Hatton District Review.
This petition will be reviewed and public comment received according to the following public hearing schedules:

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2021
The Albemarle County Planning Commission will meet Tuesday, August 3, 6:00 p.m.
This will be an electronic meeting, held pursuant to Ordinance No. 20-A(16), adopted November 4, 2020.
The staff report and agenda will be posted to www.albemarle.orci/ciovernment/community-development/advisory-
boards/planning-commission as soon as it is available and approximately one week prior to the meeting date.
Information on how to access this virtual meeting, and how to comment on the application at this meeting, can be
accessed via the County's Calendar for the meeting date located at www.albemarle.ora/community/couniy-calendar.
Speakers are encouraged to sign-up in advanceof the meeting by emailing the Planning Commission Clerk at
cshaffer20albemarle.org and providing your name and what item you wish to speak to. Comments may also be submitted
to Planning Commission members directly at planningcommissiont@albemarle.org or by letter sent to the address in the
letterhead of this correspondence.

After the Commission has taken action on the proposal, a second public hearing will be scheduled for the Board of
Supervisors. A letter of notification of the Board hearing will not be sent to adjoining owners. However, Board agendas
are available on the County website: httl2s://albemarle.leoistar.com/Calendar.aspx
