July 16, 2021 RE: AFD202100002 Neff Moorman's River Addition Dear Sir or Madam: Scott Clark sclarkaalbemarle.org Telephone: (434) 296-5832 ext. 3249 This letter is to notify you as an adjacent property owner of the above -referenced petition described as follows: PROJECT: AFD202100002 Neff Moorman's River Addition Notice is hereby given that the Albemarle County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive public comments regarding the addition of the following parcels to the Moorman's River Agricultural and Forestal District (Albemarle County Code 4 3-226) on August 3, 2021, at 6 p.m. The parcels proposed for addition are Tax Map 28 Parcels 31, 31A, and 33 (111.22 acres, located at 4225 and 4257 Ballards Mill Rd). The Albemarle County Agricultural and Forestal Districts Advisory Committee has recommended approval of this addition. Agricultural and Forestal Districts are voluntary conservation districts that landowners can join to support the County's efforts to protect the Rural Areas. Land in the Districts is subject to limitations on subdivisions and some other development activity. This petition will be reviewed and public comment received according to the following public hearing schedules: ALBEMARLE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION, TUESDAY, AUGUST 3, 2021 ALBEMARLE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2021 The Albemarle County Planning Commission will meet Tuesday, August 3, 6:00 p.m. This will be an electronic meeting, held pursuant to Ordinance No. 20-A(16), adopted November 4, 2020. The staff report and agenda will be posted to www albemarle org/government/community-development/advisory- boards/planning-commission as soon as it is available and approximately one week prior to the meeting date. Information on how to access this virtual meeting, and how to comment on the application at this meeting, can be accessed via the County's Calendar for the meeting date located at www.albemarle.org/community/county-calendar. Speakers are encouraged to sign-up in advance of the meeting by emailing the Planning Commission Clerk at cshaffer20albemarle.orci and providing your name and what item you wish to speak to. Comments may also be submitted to Planning Commission members directly at planningcommission@albemarle org or by letter sent to the address in the letterhead of this correspondence. A letter of notification of the Board hearing will not be sent to adjoining owners.
