Namely you will not be required to upgrade the entire private road to standards of a road that serves 6 or more lots which must meet VDOT standards for a public street); however, the one caveat to this is the entrance onto a public road,which still must meet VDOT standards and if needed may need to be upgraded to meet their standards prior to plat 4 approval, we will see what W-u3T says once they review it. To my understanding the two remaining items are: VDOT —I have hired the contractor for my daughter and son-in-law's home to take care of that as he has experience in this type of situation. I am waiting to hear back from him on its resolution. I had the area surveyed and it is basically just trimming back branches. Drain Fields — I have spoken with Jason Kyzer, who did the work; and, I do not know why he did not give me the complete paperwork for the two lots being divided out; and, I am just waiting on him to come back out, find a secondary drain field on the acreage I am retaining and completing the paperwork.
