Re: WPO 2006-94
Boars Head Inn Meeting Pavilion
Engineering Comments
Dear Mr. Glenn Brooks:
I am transmitting 2 full sized copies of revised plans for the Boars Head Inn
Meeting Pavilion to you for review. The plan review comments dated January 8,
2007 are addressed as follows:
A. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan
1) Top width for the sediment traps is indicated on the plans for both
sediment traps
2) As discussed per our meeting, we have adjusted the sediment traps to
provide for a longer distance between the inlets and the outlet weirs
3) The drainage area for ST "A" has been revised.
4) As mentioned during our meeting, the existing ponds on the site provide
an extra layer of erosion and sediment control and storm water
management. The previously approved E&S plan for the Boars Head
allows the ponds to be dredged as needed. If at the conclusion of the
construction it is found that sediment has accumulated to the point at
which dredging is needed, this will be done in accord with the approved
plan.
B. Stormwater Management Plan
Additional details for the conversion of the sediment traps is provided on the
plans. Also, sheet C5.1 provides the planting list for these biofilters. Please do
not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
