OVERVIEW:
THE PROPOSED STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN COMPLIES WITH PART IIB
REQUIREMENTS TO MITIGATE IMPACTS FROM THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS.
SUMMARIES OF THIS COMPLIANCE CAN BE VIEWED IN THIS VSMP SET AND IN THE
ACCOMPANYING STORMWATER MANAGEMENT CALCULATIONS PACKET.
STORMWATER QUANTITY:
CURRENTLY ALL OFTHE EXISTING IMPERVIOUS AND PERVIOUS AREAS WITHIN THE
PROJECT LIMITS EXITTHE PROPERTY UNTREATED. THE PROPOSED PLAN WILL
CHANGE THIS AND WILL CAPTURE THE MAJORITY OFTHE PROPOSED
IMPROVEMENTS. THE CAPTURE AND DETENTION OF THE MAJORITY OF THESE
IMPROVEMENTS 15 REPRESENTED BY POST -DEVELOPMENT SUBAREAA, WHEREAN
UNDERGROUND DETENTION SYSTEM ATTENUATES THE RUNOFF. CHANNEL
PROTECTION IS MET VIA 9VAC25-870-66 SECTION B.3.a. FLOOD PROTECTION I�
MET VIA 9VAC25-870-66 SECTION C.2.b.

THROUGH THE BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICE OF PURCHASING NUTRIENT
CREDITS. A MINIMUM PHOSPHOROUS REMOVAL RATE OF 4.97 Ibs/yr IS
REQUIRED. THE DEVELOPER WILL PURCHASE NUTRIENT CREDITS PRIOR TO THE
ISSUANCE OF A LAND DISTURBANCE PERMIT.

Management mans
1. All dams and constructed fill to be within 95% of
maximum dry density and 2% of optimum moisture
content. All fill material to be approved by a
geotechnical engineer. A geotechnical engineer is to
be present during construction of dams.
2. Pipe and riser joints are to be watertight within
stormwater Management facilities.
3. For temporary sediment traps or basins which are
to be converted to permanent stormwater
management facilities; conversion is not to take
place until the site is stabilized, and permission has
been obtained from the erosion control inspector.
