From: brian gillispie [mailto:B_Gillispie@msn.com] Sent: Wednesday, February 08, 2017 7:05 AM To:Christopher Perez<cperez@albemarle.org> Subject: Re: RE: Good Morning Chris, I'm really not trying to bug you and I'm sorry if I am. No, I do not have a problem responding to an applicant about their project. I hope this Miller thing isn't going to slow us down? After all he did sell me the property and act as the facilitator/realtor on the piece of property with the duplex on it. Mr. Miller's problem with your development is that you said you would put no more than 4 townhome units on this land, which he has cited as being in his contract purchase agreement with you, and instead you are seeking to put way more units on this land, which is causing him great distress be of the level of density your proposing and how it negatively affects his property. It seems disingenuous,to say the least, for him to try and stop this development. This aspect of the project is a civil matter between you and Mr. Miller. I have some supporting documentation from the sale that I'm going to forward to Diantha. Sure you can send those along to Diantha but none of that documentation really matters to the County. Rather your project must meet the requirements of the ordinance to be approved. This project had/has substantial hurdles identified at the initial site plan review. Those are still the exact same issues that have yet to be resolved but you are working towards resolving. It appears that Mr. Miller is staying on top of this project to assure those issues are not swept under the rug and that your project is not approved without meeting the requirements of the ordinance. He has every right to stay on top of this project, but he does NOT have any influence on the approval of this project, rather once you meet the requirements of the ordinance it can be approved. Is there a way we can prod the CA along? No, it is unrealistic to expect the County Attorney to turn over a review so quickly(4 working days). It really shouldn't take him that long to review the document and I'd like to get this thing finished up (I'm sure you would too). I understand you are in a rush but reviews take time. Maybe a quick email? I will not prod the County Attorney's office, they have only had the document since Feb 2nd They have a lot of other items in front of this document which need review too. Once your document his review que,he'll review it, and provide me the comments. Thanks for everything and again, sorry to bug you, B i From:Christopher Perez<cperez@albemarle.org> Sent: Monday, February 6, 2017 2:49 PM To: brian gillispie Subject: RE: RE: Brian, As requested attached is the latest correspondence I have had with Mr. Miller. It was just distributed it on Wed 2-1-17.They typically take 2 weeks minimum to respond/conduct their review. Heads-up, I have received renewed/continued interest in your project from the adjacent property owner, Mr. Miller, about the stream and the vacation plat. Christopher P.
