Please find our responses to the comments below in bold lettering. Additionally, please note that the water service layout was updated further per feedback from ACSA. 1. Add the standard window glass note to the drawings: "Visible light transmittance (VLT) shall not drop below 40%. Visible light reflectance (VLR) shall not exceed 30%." This note has been added as General Note F on Sheet A602. 2. Provide as part of the site plan detail drawings and color specifications for the clearance bar and order point canopy. Detail drawings and color specifications have been added for the clearance bar and order point canopy. The color specified for the clearance bar does not appear to have been noted on the plans. Please revise the site plan to note the color proposed for the clearance bar. The color of both the clearance bar and order point canopy will be black. A note has been added to indicate "Flat Black Finish — Field Painted" on each of these details (See Sheet C1.3). 3. Show the location of rooftop and wall -mounted equipment on the architectural elevations. Show the location of ground -mounted equipment on the site plan, or indicate that no ground equipment is proposed. RTU location is shown as a dashed line on exterior elevations sheets A201(note 25) and A202 (note 21). No ground mounted equipment is proposed. 4. Revise the dumpster enclosure detail to specify materials that are compatible with the building and appropriate for the EC. ENGINEERING I DESIGN I TECHNOLOGY The dumpster enclosure detail is proposed to have a brick finish to match the building's brick veneer. See Architectural Plans, Sheet A001 (note 21), as well as Sheet A009 for this specification. S. Add the standard mechanical equipment note to the architectural drawings: "Visibility of all mechanical equipment from the Entrance Corridor shall be eliminated." This note has been added to Sheet A001(general note H). 6. Revise the photometric plan to include footcandle values and cutsheet information for the bollard and building -mounted lighting. Illuminated bollards are not being proposed and this detail has been removed from the site plans. The building -mounted light fixtures have been added to the photometric plan and the cut sheets are also included on Sheet L4.0. The footcandle values and the cutsheet information for under canopy lighting (fixtures X0008 on sheet A151) and the footcandle values for the strip led lighting (fixtures 21305 on sheet A151) have not been included in the photometric plan. Revise the photometric plan to include footcandle values and cutsheet information for the under canopy (fixtures X0008 on sheet A151) and footcandle values for the LED strip lighting (fixtures 21305 on sheet A151). The photometric plan has been updated to include the strip lighting and under canopy can lighting. See Sheets L3.0 & 1.4.0. 7. Note the lumen levels for the bollard lighting on the plan. Fixtures that emit 3000 or more lumens must be full cutoff fixtures. Illuminated bollards are not being proposed. 8. Provide details to clarify the installation of the strip light fixtures. Included at the end of this letter is the cutsheet for the strip lighting. The design intent of these fixtures is to be a low level light to enhance the aesthetics of the building. The intent of the LED strip light fixtures is still not clear from the information provided. Please provide a building section that clearly illustrates the location of the strip light fixtures. On sheet A401 within the Arch Plans, there are building sections that show and call out the location of the strip light fixtures. Additionally, the strip light cutsheet has been added to Sheet 1.4.0. 9. Revise the photometric plan using an LFF of 1.0 for all fixtures. The LLF has been updated to be 1.0. 10. Revise the photometric plan to specify a color temperature between 2000k and 3000k for the site lighting. The color temperature has been specified to be 3000. 11. Indicate the color of the proposed fixtures on the plans. All proposed fixtures are proposed to be black. This is noted throughout the lighting sheets. 12. Include a note on the lighting plan indicating that the 20' maximum height of the pole -mounted fixtures includes any base. A note has been added to clarify the maximum height of the pole. See Sheet L3.0. 13. Revise the photometric plan to add the standard lighting note. The standard lighting note has been added to Sheet L3.0. Since LED lights are proposed, the lighting vendor has included language in Note 2 regarding the BUG rating of these LED fixtures. 14. Revise the landscape plan to remove the London Plane tree at the northwest corner of the parking area. This tree has been removed. 15. Revise the landscape plan to remove the London Plane tree at the northeast corner of the parking area. This tree has been removed. 16. Revise the landscape plan to replace the Scarlett Oak trees with a medium-sized tree or more narrow, columnar species. These Scarlet Oak trees have been replaced with 'Armstrong' Red Maple trees. 17. Note on the plan the specific color proposed for the retaining walls. A block in a muted, earth -tone color would be appropriate. The Anchor Diamond Pro Segmental Block wall is being proposed in their natural color. This callout has been added throughout the plans. The 'natural' color callout in the plans does not appear to relate to a specific color from the manufacturer. Colors that have been approved for other sites within the County are 'James River' or'Richmond'. Revise the site plan to note the specific color proposed for the retaining walls or provide information from the manufacturer that notes the 'natural' color callout in the plans. The proposed color through a local distributor is "James River". The callouts within the plans have been updated. See Sheets C;4.0 & L1.0. 18. Show areas designated for preservation and tree protection fencing coordinated throughout the plans. Tree protection fencing is shown throughout the site plans. 19. Sign applications are required for all proposed signs. Ensure that the application drawings show canopy sign heights that allow for clear space above, below, and to the sides of the letters to avoid overcrowding the sign band. Acknowledged.
