Scott,
Below are comments for the White Gables Major Amendment:
Per ACSA's Standard Construction Specifications, page W-1; A second fire hydrant cannot be served
from the existing 6" water main. The existing 6" segment will need to be upgraded to an 8".
The proposed water meter should be called out as a 1.5". Relocate the 1.5" meter outside of the
pavement.
There should be some privately owned sewer manholes that are not shown on the plan. These should
be in line with the private sewer easement.
There are some outstanding comments remaining from my email to Lauren on 4/2 that need to be
addressed (below)
There are existing private sewer segments that are not shown on the plan (image below). It looks like
this may become a conflict with the water services.
The existing sewer on site is currently privately owned. The ACSA does not allow multiple parcel owners
tie into the same private sewer.
If desired, and with written permission of the owner of the private sewer, the ACSA can evaluate the
private sewer on site through CCTV and manhole inspections. If desired by the owner, the ACSA will
consider taking ownership of these 3 sewer segments and manholes. A list of sewer rehabilitation may
be required if defects within the private sewer are found.
Thanks,
Richard Nelson
