Dear Gary:
The purpose of this letter is to update you on the current
status of discussions between the County of Albemarle and
Mr. Benton Patterson concerning the Triangle Trailer Court.
As you are aware, the Board of Supervisors granted
conditional approval of the extension of sewer facilities to
this property on June 3 , 1987 . In that approval were
various deadlines for work to be accomplished on the site in
order to improve the condition of the existing trailer
court. To date, Mr. Patterson has not met the deadlines in
the conditional approval. He has, however, been in contact
with this office and seems to be making some progress
towards satisfying those conditions.
Based on the above progress this Department has been
authorized to continue to work with Mr. Patterson as long as
progress continues to be made and it appears that the
conditions will be satisfied in a timely manner. Based on
my discussions to date concerning the actual extension of
sewer, it appears that design plans for such extension will
not be completed until early October and construction will
be at some point after that.
Should your Department choose to proceed with necessary
actions to correct the existing health problems at the
trailer court, this Department will in no way oppose such

actions . We also consider the health conditions at the park
to be unsatisfactory and will continue to work in every way
we can to insure that they are corrected. I will continue
to keep you informed as we progress in this matter. If you
have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
