Re: SDP-2003-027 Tip Top Restaurant Major Amendment
Dear Francis:
The following comments are in response to your letter dated April 15,2003.
PLANNING:
1. The scale bar has been revised.
2. The 494 contour line has been revised.
3. The note has been removed. The sanitary is to remain.
4. Sidewalks have been labeled
5. The landscaping has been revised.
6. The dumpster has been relocated.
7. An interconnection with Parcel 10 has been added. An interconnection with Parcel 57B is not
possible because of grading.
8. The eastern entrance has been relocated to provide direct access to Parcel 10. This has been
reviewed by VDOT and they are amenable to it.
9. No Comment.
ZONING:
1. The scale bar has been revised.
2. A waiver request has been submitted.
3. Refer to S3

5. ARB application has been submitted.
BUILDING:
1. A barrier free parking space has been added to the front parking area.
FIRE/RESCUE:
1. The nearest fire hydrant is on the south side of Route 250 next to the Dennis Enterprises
entrance. Refer to S2.

ENGINEERING:
1. The scale bar has been revised.
2. The note has been removed. The sanitary is to remain.
3. Curb has been added to the new parking areas.
4. Pavement and radii have been labeled.
5. The dumpster has been relocated.
6. Refer to S2.
7. Refer to Site Data on S1.
8. The existing parking areas cannot be modified. The new parking areas have appropriate
grades.
9. The existing basin on Parcel 57B will provide stormwater management for this parcel.
Calculations will be submitted under separate cover.
10. A SWM Plan and erosion plan will be submitted under separate cover It is best to resolve
some of the site issues prior to generating these plans.
VDOT.
1. An interconnection with Parcel 10 has been added. An interconnection with Parcel 57B is not
possible because of grading.

j. The entrance has been revised to extend the planting area to the east. It is not
possible to extend the planting area ten feet into the property because it will make the
access aisle less than 24'.
k. The landscaping has been extended.
