Re: SDP-2006-00112: Dominion Office Park, Phase 1, Major Site Plan
Amendment
We have received your comments dated 10/23/06 for the above referenced project The
following are our responses to those comments
A. Site and Drainage Plans
1. The plans need a signed and dated professional seal.
The plans will be signed and sealed once they are approved.
2. A critical slopes waiver is needed for the disturbance of critical slopes
It is my understanding that you have received a copy of the waiver request
that we submitted with the application.
3 A parking space extends into the travelway The parking island needs to extend
the length of the parking spaces in order to provide safe and convenient
circulation. Please rearrange the configuration so that parking spaces do not
block the travelway
We have extended the island with painted asphalt stripes.
4. Please provide CG-2 around the loading area.
We have provided CG-2 north and south of the loading space and have
provided roll-top curbing to the east.
5. Please provide details of the retaining wall.
We have provided details of the redi-rock on Sheet S4.
B. Stormwater Management Plans
1. It appears that the Filterra may be sticking out of the ground. Show grading
around the Filterra so that it will not stick out of the ground.
It is my understanding that this comment may have been made in error and
that you have no further issues with location of the Filterra.
2. A letter of approval from Filterra is required
A request for a letter of approval has been requested from Filterra. We will
forward that letter to you as soon as we get it.

3. Please show a detail of how the Filterra layout will work in conjunction with the rip
rap channel (in order to help provide proper reassembly of the unit).
Please see the detail on sheet S4.
B. Erosion Control Plans
1 . If the amount of disturbance is proposed to be less than 10,000 sq feet, please
indicate this on the plans and provide a statement that if disturbance is to exceed
10,000 sq feet, an Erosion and Sediment Control Plan is necessary.
Total disturbance proposed is less than 10,000 S.F.
