Conley (applicant). The variance request involves property described as tax map 56A1, parcel 01-24C, Zoned R2, Residential, Whitehall Magisterial District. The applicant is requesting relief from Section 14.3 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance, as follows: Applicant requests a variance of density to allow 0.869 acres with three existing dwellings to subdivide into two parcels. Property zoned Residential 2, which requires 0.5 acres per dwelling. The proposed lot for the two dwellings would need 1 acre and consists of 0.48 acres, requiring a variance of 0.52 acres.
