Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners, that Pamela B. Humphries, owner of
property described as tax map 27, parcel 122 and zoned RA (Rural Areas) in the Whitehall Magisterial
District, has made application for VA-98-09 described below.
The requests are:
• to reduce the front yard from 75 to 43 feet to allow a second house to be constructed; and,
• to reduce the front yard from 75 to 65 feet to allow a barn to be relocated.
Reductions of the building site 100-foot setback from any tributary stream to a public drinking water
impoundment are also needed, as follows:
• to 66 feet of a rear stream, and to 80 feet of a side stream to allow the second house to be
constructed, and,
• to 34 feet of the rear stream to allow the barn to be relocated.
These items will be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals at a public hearing on Tuesday May 5,
1998, at 3:00 p.m., in Room 241, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road,
Charlottesville, Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Building Code and Zoning
Services office, Room 227, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
