Dear Mr. & Mrs. Hoza:
This letter is to inform you that your variance application, VA-98-11, was heard by the
Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals on Tuesday, May 5, 1998. The Board ruled
(3:2) to grant the variance request subject to the following conditions.
1) This variance is for the addition requested only. Any future additions encroaching
into the 15 foot setback will require an amendment to this variance.
This variance approval allows relief from Section 12.3 of the Albemarle County Zoning
Ordinance for reduction of the side setback from 15 feet to 6 feet to allow a garage and
covered stairwell to be added to an existing house.
